This piece is for the consumate collector who aprreciates the never to be found again aritcle in spite of its condition...NOT in good condition, worn, with tears and faded parts  BUT  if you can imagine how gorgeous this 1950s child's costume, original design made exclusively by STAR COSTUMERS for FAO Schwarz, was new, then you can appreciate the tulle, the tiny squins, the black felt piping, the tulips on the stiff muslin apron, the gathered puff sleeves and the little eye and hook closures on the back. The dress is sturdy and intact, no seams are compromised but this is a faded lavender  beauty with age spots on the sleeves and some holes in the apron.  Otherwise clean, no odor, staed size 8, rescued from an estate sale.
